I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and people who mean the most to you!
It is hard to believe that Christmas will be here before we know it and there is a lot of fun holiday activities that will keep our December busy! The Christmas tree is decorated at the historical society and so make sure you come on by and see it during one of our meetings.
The “All Service Club Luncheon” is Wednesday, December 13th at 11:30 am. There will be NO noon meeting on Tuesday, December 12th due to the luncheon. The cost is $13.00 and we need to have a number count by November 30th. The Willmar Senior High School Cardinal Choir will be the entertainment and they have quite the talent that I look forward to seeing and hearing every year. We will be participating with the Salvation Army bell ringing on December 14th from 10:00-8:00 at the JCPenney and Kandi Mall Theatre entrances. Board members, watch out to not sign up from 12:00-1:00 as we do have our monthly board meeting on Thursday, December 14th.
We are presenting our Peanut Partner with a check of $7,500 on December 5th and the program is extra special as I hear there will be some “treats” to pass around! I also hear we will have a special red suit, white bearded guest on December 19th to go along with having the YMCA Child Care Center children joining us this year. To wrap up December, we will get to hear about Hannah Schirm’s exciting travel adventures!
